We are seeking applications for a full-time Business Development Representative position in our New York office.

 

Responsibilities

The Business Development Representative (BDR) oversees the sourcing of opportunities for our outside sales team. MackeyRMS is rapidly expanding its global footprint, and we need motivated sales professionals to assist in growing our sales pipeline accordingly. We are seeking scrappy and goal-oriented individuals.

  • Book new business meetings with key stakeholders at large investment management organizations
  • Prospecting via cold-calling, emails, and other forms of messaging or marketing initiatives
  • Qualify inbound and marketing leads and convert relevant ones to meetings and deal opportunities
  • Concisely explain MackeyRMS value proposition to sales prospects and determine whether their needs could be met with MackeyRMS platform
  • Advocate for Mackey and our market-leading position atop the global research management software segment
  • Meet and exceed sales quotas and objectives
  • Track and monitor leads in CRM
  • Collaborate with marketing team in developing innovative outreach campaigns
  • Assist sales and marketing teammates with client and prospecting events

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree and 0-2years of sales experience (software sales is a plus)
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
