What’s New in VerityRMS? | October 2024

In Q3 2024, VerityRMS introduced several updates aimed at making the platform even better for portfolio managers, analysts, and tech teams. Here’s a closer look at the capabilities that are helping the world’s top firms discover research, elevate insights, and do their best work together.

Auto-Create Dashboards & More

Admins can now auto-create SQL queries and dashboards with AI assistance. By simply typing questions in plain English, you can generate SQL queries to power dashboards, offering admins efficiency in generating insights for their firm.

Get Deeper Answers From Company Insights  

How can GenAI be used on your firm’s crown jewel — its intellectual capital? Last quarter, we introduced Company Insights which leverage GenAI to help investment teams answer company-level questions using data from your research notes and relevant company filings like 10-K/Qs. 

Now this feature has been upgraded to also reference your attachments, including meeting transcripts. Company Insights can now also use GPT-4o, which delivers faster, deeper insights at a lower cost, while delivering a better experience. GPT-4o also improves response speed and citation accuracy. 

Company insights allow research teams to ask AI questions based on their own research and relevant 10-K/Q filings.

Unlock More Value From Dashboards

Dashboards are the second-most visited page in VerityRMS after Notes. Commonly, VerityRMS dashboards are used by portfolio managers to aggregate analyst, third party, and internal data into a single view for faster decision-making.  

Enhancements to dashboards improve flexibility and usability, with options to expand widgets to full-screen mode and search within tree-table formats.

Dashboard enhancements include design improvements and functional ones, like searching within a tree-table dashboard.

As part of ongoing efforts to improve the user experience, VerityRMS also introduced updates to its design, focusing on clearer iconography and improved visual clarity. Axis formatting for charts and instant feedback for number fields in templates now make it easier for portfolio managers and analysts to interpret intel quickly. 

Security Master Updates

To help investors stay organized, the Security Master is now updated daily, reflecting changes like IPOs, ticker updates, and corporate actions. Enhanced matching logic and auto-tagging features make sure that users can find and tag securities — effortlessly and accurately. 

Enhanced Search 

VerityRMS now supports search across new file types, including VTT transcripts from meetings, for better access to important information. This expanded search function, combined with the updated Security Master, allows teams to more accurately retrieve company data and investment research.
